Here’s our first Challenge Task. We will
give away one student version to each of the first five winners.

The schematic diagram above shows a full wave
rectifier circuit with a hidden fault. The fault could be anywhere, but the
circuit contains only one defect.

or the same command from the Analysis menu to analyze the faulty circuit.
Run Transient
analysis (via the Analysis/Transient
menu) to check the operation of the circuit as seen at the output terminals.
Examine the Transient analysis curves to find out
what is wrong and locate the defect. You can use any of TINA’s instruments and
make any virtual measurement to locate the defect.
Repair the circuit. Use the Insert/Shape/Arrow and the Text
commands to indicate the repaired part.
Copy and paste the repaired schematic and the
before and after transient response diagrams into a document with the
description of the defect and the repair. Email the document to us (in zipped
form, if you like).
